El Paso - - Closing arguments are underway this morning in the Michael Romero murder trial.

Romero is accused in the beating death of Valentin Rodriguez at a party in Northeast El Paso two years ago.

The prosecution this morning told the jury that this was no regular assault but rather a devious beating.

The prosecution also pointed out that Michael Romero was a know gang member.

The case is expected to go to the jury today.
