American software mogul John McAfee, on the run from police in Belize, is in Guatemala and will seek asylum.

He's wanted for questioning in the shooting death of his neighbor in Belize.
McAfee says he had nothing to do with the killing.

"No one has blamed me for the murder. I have not been charged, I am not a suspect. They merely want to question me about the murder. I am not concerned because I have not been charged with a crime there is no basis for extradition. I like Guatemala. I think the legal system in Guatemala is superior to the legal system in Belize. Guatemala is close, it is beautiful, and most importantly I enjoy the company of Guatemalans. I like Guatemala. I have a passport, I am in no trouble with the US. I can return any time I like. I have been back to America many times since I have been in Belize. I have no interest of going (back to the States) this month or next but maybe at the beginning of the year. I can come and go freely to America any time I want," McAfee told reporters.

McAfee's attorney confirms the tech mogul is seeking asylum in Guatemala and denies McAfee had anything to do with the murder.
