A Mountain View High School teacher is behind bars facing criminal charges. Long time speech teacher and tennis coach Jesus Garcia is accused of sexual assaulting a student. Garcia was arrested this morning five days after he was suspended from the school. The 47 year-old is charged with sexual assault and for having an improper relationship with a student. Garcia has worked for the district for the past 16 years.

Clint Independent School District spokesperson Laura Cade released this statement today regarding the investigation: "Jesus Garcia has been placed on suspension with pay pending an investigation of allegations made against him. The district has taken all precautionary measures required, including reporting the matter to the proper regulatory and legal authorities."

Garcia is being held for lack of $75,000 bond.

He isn't the first from the school, and the school wouldn't have done anything about it till the media came in, just watch it fade within a week. All Montana Vista schools need to be checked, sex, bullying, everything.
