EL PASO - Every day, hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists ride to work on their bikes. In the Sun City, the dry and warm climate is particularly friendly to motorcyclists and they can be seen year round in larger numbers. But today, June 20th, those numbers will likely be much higher around the area.

Organizers of the "Ride To Work Day" event have been using this day to promote the benefits of more cyclists on the road. Those benefits include ease of parking, higher fuel economy and the "fun" of motorcycling.

The event has been held every year for the past 20 years and supporters hope to push the number of bikers riding to work to 1 million nationally.
