El Paso, TX (KTSM) — It was an emotional Friday for family and friends of Jesse Valdez, as they said their goodbyes to the man killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday, September 5, 2013.
Valdez lost control of his motorcycle as he was exiting the freeway at I-10 west and Sunland Park.
The crash shut down a portion of the freeway for hours.
As we've been reporting on NewsChannel 9, the 29-year old was a United Blood Services employee and had been for 12 years.
Valdez not only leaves behind a big reputation at UBS but also as a father as he leaves behind an 8-month old son.
Valdez was laid to rest Friday, September 13th at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa.
