EL PASO - A motorcyclist is recovering tonight after he flew off of his motorcycle in far East El Paso.

Police say the motorcyclist swerved to avoid hitting a car, but instead he hit a curb and flew off his bike.

He landed on the side of the road near Joe Battle and Montana.

He was taken to the hospital, his condition is still unknown.

Police say he was wearing a helmet.
