El Paso - Socorro Independent School District officials have confirmed that the student council at Montwood High School is planning on setting up a ceremony to honor the student who died in the car crash yesterday morning.

The time or place of the ceremony has not yet been released.

Jennifer Gomez, was a junior at Montwood and students say she wanted to be a dance teacher.

She and her aunt, Maria Gomez, both were killed yesterday morning in a car accident.

Police say Maria was driving and the family has confirmed that they were on their way to the high school.
