LAS CRUCES - The search is over for a missing woman and her baby.

29-year-old Renee Marie Garcia and her two week old son went missing early yesterday morning near the 300 block of Montana Avenue.

Over the past couple of days, Garcia and her son had been staying at the Sands Motel on South Main Street.

Police say they found Garcia around noon today and they arrested her on an outstanding warrant.

Her baby has been turned over to Child Protective Services.
