A new study suggests that although milk is a great source of Vitamin D and calcium for kids, it should only be consumed in moderation. The study finds cow's milk can decrease kids' iron levels. That's because cow's milk has components that can block the absorption of iron in young children, but researchers say two cups a day is sufficient to boost Vitamin D and other nutrients in most children, with a minimum impact on iron levels stored in the body. More than 1300 kids between the ages of two and five participated in the study.
