Military Nurse Who Infected Patients To Be Sentenced Today

Update: Jon Dale Jones was sentenced to 3 years 5 month sin prison, plus 3 years supervised release.
At his sentencing hearing several of his victims spoke out on his behalf.
They believe Jones is remorseful and has tried to change his life since being caught.
They asked the judge for a lighter sentence.
Jones was facing up to 20 years in prison.
A former Beaumont Hospital nurse is set to be sentenced today.
Jon Dale Jones is accused of infecting patients with Hepatitis while stealing their pain medications during surgery.
He pleaded guilty to assault and theft.
Prosecutors say Jones passed on Hepatitis C to at least 16 military patients back in 2004.
He faces up to twenty years in prison when he's sentenced today.
