After a 30-mile Project HERO group ride which started at the "break of dawn" on Fort Bliss in the frigid temperatures and gusty winds, it was time for a last minute adjustment for my bicycle.

Pain in my low back and knee indicated it was time for the bicycle seat to be moved.  After foot surgery, neck surgery, and herniated discs in my low back, I don't want to risk bad form - especially on a 450 mile ride!

The Specialized "Ruby" Carbon bicycle was then taken apart and is now in pieces; packed and ready to fly to the Ride2Recovery Texas Challenge.  No worries, though, we marked the seat placement with tape so that the team of mechanics on site know exactly how to put her back together before the ride begins.
