Movie Depicts Bachelor Party Nightmare South of the Border

Five watched the sunset. Four lived to see it rise.

"Mexican Sunrise" is a film centered around a bachelor party gone wrong, after a group of four men head south of the border to celebrate the groom's final days as an unwed man. It becomes a nightmare upon encountering a drug lord. 

The city of El Paso will be hosting the film's premiere, which has limited release in select cities. The screening will be shown at Premiere Cinemas 18 at Bassett Place Mall, located at 6101 Gateway West, El Paso, Texas, 79925.

Attending the screening will be writer-director Rowdy Stovall and principle cast members. The film stars Jordan Belfi (Entourage, The Sacred) and Drew Powell (Touchback, Straw Dogs).

"Mexican Sunrise" has been rated "R" by the MPAA for "violence, pervasive language, some sexuality/nudity and brief drug use."
