   A memorial will be held for Capt. Bruce K. Clark Tuesday. Clark is the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom on May 1 in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. Forty-three-year-old Clark from Spencerport, N.Y., was an Army nurse that entered the Army in September 2006.

   His previous Army assignment was at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Clark's military education includes the U.S. Army Medical Department Officer Basic Course and the Critical Care Nursing Course. His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service, Medal National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Army Service Medal.
 

    Clark is survived by his wife and two children. He deployed with the 566th Air Support Medical Company to Southwest Asia in March 2012 in support of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.
