EL PASO- Mayor John Cook has been denied an appeal against the recall petition against him.

The recall signatures have already been varified, however Mayor Cook appealed that discussion.

The Eight District Court of Appeals in El Paso signed the official denial of appeal on Monday.

The recall election of Mayor Cook along with city representatives Susie Byrd and Steve Ortega could take place as soon as May.

Mayor crook just needs to resign to avoid being booted out in the recall election.

all politicians are corrupt

The article states "The recall signatures have already been varified, however Mayor Cook appealed that discussion."

That made no sense. To varify means to make things different. I think the right word should have been verify.

Second, how can you appeal a "discussion"? You can appeal a decision, but not a discussion.

It's a good thing most people listen to your newscasts and do not read them.
