Massive Fire Rips Through House in Northeast El Paso

UPDATE @ 9:35am -- Fire Investigators determined the fire was caused by an electrical short in the attic area. Damage is now estimated at $85,000.
EL PASO – Fire investigators are trying to figure out what started a massive fire that tore through a house in Northeast El Paso.
NewsChannel 9 was first on the scene at the fire that started around 4:15a.m. in the 5800 block of Marlin.
Neighbors told our crew that the home was vacant.
Firefirghters are investigating a cause and say the fire did $60,000 worth of damage.
