Massive Fire in Horizon: Several Homes Burned, No Hydrants in Area
UPDATE 6/24/2011: A fund has been set up for both families affected by the fire.

Update 9:45 p.m. The fire has been put out. Three businesses, two of them being pallet warehouses, were among the two houses burned in this fire. No injuries reported.
Update 8:07 p.m. The fire is under control. Fort Bliss supplied water to put out the flames. So far, two homes have been burned. No injuries reported.
Update: Sheriff's deputies say the fire has burned several homes. Firefighters are having trouble putting out the flames because no hydrants exist in the area.

Original Report: A massive fire is burning in Horizon City. The address reported is 13632 Madero Drive.
Traffic cameras showed a huge plume of black smoke rising into the sky. Huge red flames were also visible in the video.
The business that caught fire is located near Madero and Darrington. Several fire crews are on the scene. We've heard reports that small explosions might have went off in the fire.
Dozens of viewers called our newsroom to report the fire. Many were on the eastside and could see the fire from their homes.
