Marketing professionals attend Visitor Bureaus Conference
El Paso, TX (KTSM) — The El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to host over 200 destination marketing professionals during the Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus Annual Conference.
It kicked off Tuesday at the El Paso Convention Center.
In the next 3 days, The Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (TACVB) will focus on Administration, Group Sales, Group Servicing; Tourism Sales, Communications/Technology, Marketing, Texas Heritage/Cultural Tourism and Visitor Services.
"This conference is a wonderful opportunity for us to exchange ideas with our contemporaries from all over the state of Texas." said Bill Blaziek, General Manager of the El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Special events planned for attendees include a historical walking tour of downtown El Paso conducted by Gary Williams of the El Paso Community Foundation; an Oscar-themed welcome dinner at McKelligon Canyon Pavilion.
