EL PASO - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who they say led them on a high speed chase.

Deputies tried to stop Daniel Huizar, 30, for a traffic violation, when he sped off and led deputies on a chase.  During the chase deputies say Huizar and his passenger started throwing cocaine out of the car window.

The passenger, Francisco Huizar-Gomes, jumped out of the car and ran into a desert area, but Huizar kept driving.  Deputies caught up with the passenger, who is Huizar's brother, and arrested him.

Huizar is wanted for possession of cocaine and evading arrest.

Deputies say he was recently spotted in Montana Vista.  He has several friends in the area and may be hiding hiding out there.

if you've seen Daniel Huizar, or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS (8477).
