According to investigators, someone shot a 37-year-old man in the back parking lot of the Players Billiard Parlor and Nightclub at 4024 Dyer St.

The shooting happened at about 1:20 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the victim was shot in the right inner thigh.  He was taken to University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

There was a car parked at the gas station across the street with the windows blown out.  Investigators taped off the parking lot to investigate how the car was involved.
