One man is behind bars and another is in the hospital after a stabbing at Graham's Corner on Wednesday night, police said.

Police arrested Michael Leon Tyson, 47 for allegedly stabbing 29-year-old Ismael Pacheco several times with a knife inside the bar.

After the attack Tyson walked out of the bar and an off-duty El Paso Police Officer at the bar became aware of the stabbing and immediately confronted Tyson outside. Tyson complied with the Officer’s orders and was detained until uniformed Westside Units arrived.

When officers arrived, Tyson reportedly confessed to stabbing the victim. He was arrested on the scene.

Pacheco was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries and was listed as being in stable condition.

Investigators said the pair knew each other and that they had recently become involved in a feud.
