Man Shot By Border Patrol

February 20, 2009 - 9:43am
An apparent drug-runner's been shot by a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
It happened in a remote area about 20-miles west of the Santa teresa, New Mexico port of entry. The Border Patrol says agents caught a man trying to drive across the border into the U.S. Agents cornered the vehicle and tried to arrest the suspect. That's when the man hit one of the agents.
The suspect is being treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Follow the rules and obey the law, and no one gets hurt. If you enter the country illegaly and are stupid enough to try injuring or mameming a law enforcement officer, you deserve to get shot. Shame on the officers, they need to go to the range more often, no witnesses!

10 months agoThank you to all US Border Patrol Agents for serving on America's Frontline. This is an example of how our Agents put their lives on the line for all of us. Good job to all the agents involved, and thank God that all of you were able to make it home and see your families again. Keep up the good work!
