El Paso, TX - Union Pacific says a man was seriously hurt after he tried jumping onto a moving train and slipped under it.
The accident happened around 1:30 Sunday morning off of the Border Highway near Downtown El Paso. Rail workers heard the man screaming for help after the train ran over his foot. We're told part of the man's leg had to be amputated.
This is the second serious accident involving a train in just a few days. On Wednesday a 2-year old was killed after police said a woman tried to pass in front of a train in Anthony, New Mexico.
