A man is recovering after escaping a house fire in Northeast El Paso.
It happened on the 9000 block of Tammy Court yesterday morning.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in under twenty minutes.
The 30 year-old man was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. So far, no word on his condition.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated. Damage is estimated at $30,000.
