Firefighters responded to a fire in East El Paso this afternoon. We're being told it was started by a gas leak. Emergency crews say one person has been transported to University Medical Center with injuries.
The blaze broke out off Kingman Drive. That's near Viscount. The call came in at around 5:15 p.m.
Dozens of fire crews responded to the scene.
The entire complex was evacuated while they put out the flames.
It was several hours before the were allowed back into their units.
