EL PASO— After being featured three times on the “Most Wanted” list, the El Paso Sheriff’s Gang Unit was able to make an arrest.

EPCSO’s Gang Unit got a tip about 27-year-old Adrian Sanchez, and were able to arrest him Monday evening. The Unit learned that Sanchez was working at a restaurant in the 1500 block of N. Lee Trevino Blvd.

Deputies went into the restaurant and met with a manager, whom was able to confirm that Sanchez did work at the restaurant, and that Sanchez was currently in the building. Deputies were then taken to the back of the business where they took Sanchez into custody.

“I was tired of being on the run, and I was planning on turning myself in,” Sanchez said during his arrest, according to Deputies.

Sanchez was wanted by EPCSO and by the El Paso Police Department on two counts of driving while intoxicated. No bond was set.
