EL PASO - A man is in the hospital with a broken leg after he tried escaping gunmen who were shooting at his pickup truck.

It happened at about 2:30 a.m. Monday near Pellicano and George Dieter.

According to El Paso Police, a man got into an argument with a group of men who then chased him and started shooting at his truck.  Investigators said the man crashed at a gas station, then jumped out of the truck and ran into the desert.  He tried to jump over a wall, but fell and broke his leg.

The photo above shows the bullet holes in the pickup truck.  Investigators also found several bullet casings on the street.

No arrests have been made.
