Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

A man was killed this morning in a motorcycle accident, and investigators say strong winds may have been the cause. It happened just after midnight at U.S. 54 North and Diana. A police officer tells NewsChannel 9 he was patrolling in the area when he found the exit sign to the Diana off-ramp on the side of the freeway. Moments later, he found the body of a 53 year-old Keith Jackson on the off-ramp and a motorcycle a short distance up Gateway North. Investigators don't believe speed was a factor and say he was wearing a helmet. This is the 5th fatal motorcycle accident of the year.
