EL PASO - Police say a man died last night after crashing into a tree in the upper valley.

Police say 31-year-old Tyson Hubley was driving in a maroon Ford pick-up truck last night near 5100 Uper Valley Rd.

Hubley passed another car, and that's when police say he lost control, and the car slammed into a tree. But his truck didn't stop there. The truck then hit a nearby wall.

Police say Hubley was wearing a seatbelt, but they say speed was a factor. They haven't said if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

I live in the subdivision where the accident occured. I would like to say on many occasions I have seen vehicles speeding and passing other drivers on this one way road.I myself have been passed by drivers going over 70 miles an hour. I usually go the speed limit which is 45-50mph. This road also has some sharp curves as well. Slow Down people! Is it really worth risking yours or someone elses life to get 1 car ahead??
