A man claiming to officers that he had his wallet stolen was found to be in possession of a stolen truck at Rosa's Cantina on Doniphan, according to a police report.

Upon arriving to the scene, an officer found that 36-year old Gabriel Serna had become aggressive and started to argue with customers at the bar as well as trying to physically fight them. The staff at the bar called police and escorted Serna out of the bar. Once outside, Serna went into a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban that he had been driving. The officer observed the truck and Serna exited the truck from the passenger side and told the officer that his wallet had been stolen, however the officer noted Serna’s wallet was in the backseat of the truck. Once Serna’s wallet was located he became upset and started to reportedly become aggressive towards the officers. At that moment Serna was detained due to his intoxicated state.

An investigation revealed that the vehicle he was in had been reported stolen on July 7th.  Serna was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the report, once Serna was at the station, he spit on the officers. Serna was additionally charged with two counts of Harassment of Public Servant.
