Man charged with three robberies
EL PASO — Officers and Detectives assigned to the Mission Valley Regional Command Center arrested and charged a man with three Aggravated Robberies, two dating back to November and December of 2012.
Police say the on-going investigation revealed that David Middaugh entered the Circle K store located at 8130 Alameda on November 13, 2012 at 8:36 p.m., when he approached the clerk, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. Then on December 21, 2012 Middaugh allegedly entered the Valero station at 8498 Alameda, again approached the clerk, demanded cash, and displayed a handgun. Police say Middaugh struck again on February 9, 2013 when he entered the Family Dollar located at 8899 Alameda at 9:48 p.m., and approached the clerk, demanded cash and again displayed a handgun. According to investigators, in all three cases, Middaugh fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The officers and investigators from the Mission Valley Regional Command continued their investigation until Middaugh was taken into custody late last week when he was booked on three counts of Aggravated Robbery and one count of Terroristic Threat. His Bonds totaled $160,000.00.
