EL PASO — Police arrested James Jordan, 50, for allegedly operating a business and acting as a broker for movie industry investments.
The investigation revealed victims invested with Jordan into Alliance Group Entertainment. He continued to sell investments and received commissions for those sales on behalf of Boo Ya Investments.
Jordan continued to offer the sale of investments through a company website. It was determined he was never a registered agent or broker with the Texas Securities Board and that Alliance Group Entertainment is not a registered security. He was arrested for the offense of Sale of Securities by An Unregistered Person.
Investigators continue to seek citizens that may have invested in Alliance Group Entertainment through Jordan, Garza & Associates, Boo Ya Investments, and or James Jordan. Those citizens are asked to contact (915) 832-4400 or (915) 564-7130.
