Man Burned By Hot Tar At Construction Site

A construction worker is rushed to the hospital after suffering burns in South El Paso. Seven fire units responded to a construction site for a roofing accident on Delta Drive and Hills Street.
A ladder basket was called out to the scene in order to bring the man down from the roof.

Rescue crews told us a 57-year-old man carrying two buckets of hot tar tripped and fell and the tar splashed on his arms and legs.

We're told the man suffered second-degree burns and that his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
