A Dona Ana County man is arrested after reportedly holding his girlfriend at knife point. Francisco Salazar had been arrested for multiple attacks against his on-again, off-again girlfriend within a two-week time frame.

According to deputies, Salazar beat up his girlfriend in front of her four-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. At one point he reportedly got a knife and stood between her and the door of her home so that she couldn't escape.
