Man Arrested for Allegedly Having Crack Cocaine

El Paso Police arrested and charged a man with more than 12 grams of crack cocaine last Thursday.

Officers were investigating an illegal narcotics sale in the parking lot of at the Valero Gas Station at 3815 Pershing . According to police, investigators met with Tyrone Jones, 25, who was found to be in possession of three pieces of rock cocaine. The total weight of the cocaine was 12.1 grams.

Officers took Jones into custody and further investigation revealed that Jones had four outstanding Probation Revocation warrants for Possession and Delivery of Controlled Substance. Jones’ total bonds on the Revocation warrants was $500,000.00.

Jones was additionally charged with Manufacture Deliver of Controlled Substance and his bond was set at $10,000.
