Man arrested for allegedly driving drunk, leading deputies on chase
Fabens, TX (KTSM) — An alleged drunk driver was behind bars for allegedly leading El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies on a chase and this is not his first run-in with the law recently.
Deputies said they tried to stop Gonzalo Silva, Jr. for driving recklessly in Fabens at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday.
Silva allegedly kept driving for about seven minutes before stopping on North Fabens and Camp.
Deputies arrested him and learned he had an outstanding warrant for criminal mischief and was in jail a month ago for obstruction and retaliation.
