Man Arrested After Child Reports Alleged Rape Incident

LAS CRUCES — Las Cruces Police have arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.

Ernesto Robles, 57, faced one count of criminal sexual penetration, a first-degree felony offense, and one second-degree felony count of criminal sexual contact of a minor.

Las Cruces Police detectives learned that the young girl and other family members were at Robles’ home earlier this month when the incidents are alleged to have occurred. The girl later told her mother who contacted police.

Robles was arrested Wednesday evening and booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center.

What is it going to take for all this abuse to stop, are the few decent people who are left in Las Cruces going to have to hide their children, or should they keep the animals caged up so the children can live happy lives without being hurt and tramatauized!
