Man accused of shoving pepper in little boy's eye
San Antonio, Texas (NBC) — A 9 year-old San Antonio boy was left with a swollen eye when a man reportedly shoved a jalapeno pepper in it.
29-year-old Michael Barron is now behind bars. Court records say he got upset when a boy reportedly said something to his daughter. The boy apologized to the girl, but it was not enough for Barron.
Officers say tried to put a jalapeno in the child's mouth but it somehow ended up in child's left eye, causing it to turn red and swell shut.
Barron is charged with injury to a child.
