A six vehicle pile-up made traffic even more backed up on I-10 near Vado.

That area of the interstate is already slowed due to construction.

The crash happened Tuesday evening.

New Mexico State Police say a semi-truck was following too closely in the work zone, crashed and caused a chain reaction.

Seven people were injured.

One had to be airlifted to a local hospital for help, although his injuries do not appear life-threatening.

I drive I-10 at least 2-3 times a week and am always being tailed. People think that if they "push" you, you may go faster. Stupid, when there happens to be others in front of you!
Then again, some people shouldn't even be on the road!
