New Mexico State University has been ranked in the top tier of the U.S. News & World Report National Universities rankings for a second consecutive year.

NMSU ranks 190 this year, a demonstration that NMSU faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a meaningful, high quality, affordable education for NMSU students, and in preparing the next generation of leaders for the state and nation.

NMSU has been competitively ranked in other prestigious rankings this summer, including ranking 73 in the Washington Monthly National Universities rankings, and 376 in the Forbes America's Top Colleges rankings.

The university also is a Top 100 Degree Producer of both Hispanic and American Indian bachelor's and master's degrees, according to Diverse Issues in Higher Education.

As New Mexico's land-grant institution, NMSU's continued presence in the top tier of the U.S. News & World Report National Universities rankings confirms the university's place among the top institutions in our nation.
