LAS CRUCES- Memorial Medical Center of Las Cruces and Las Cruces Public Schools employees loaded 350 backpacks filled with school supplies onto three trucks, early Monday morning.

The backpacks, which are marked by grade, will be delivered to economically disadvantaged students throughout LCPS.

This is the eighth year in a row that MMC employees have donated backpacks about 2,300 total have been donated to LCPS students.
