EL PASO - Loved ones gathered at Riverside High School Monday evening to honor the memory of a teen killed in a motorcycle accident last week.
Family and friends of 18-year-old Eric Estrada held candles as they shared memories of the passionate Riverside football player who died after he lost control and wrecked a motorcycle near his home.
"To see that he is missing in our group is very difficult," said Victoria Rosado, a cousin of Estrada. "It's not the same and it will never be the same."
Friends and family shared stories of Estrada always joking and trying to make others laugh. Memories his friend and teammate on the football team will never forget.
"He's always going to have a special place in my heart," said Randy Silva. "I'm always going to have nothing but good memories about that kid."
Relatives said Estrada was very loving and always took care of his family. He aspired to go to college and continue his education.
