Lorenzo Aguilar pleads guilty to public corruption

El Paso, TX (KTSM) — Just days before he was schedued to go on trial local architect Lorenzo Aguilar pleaded guilty to public corruption charges, Thursday morning.
The decision comes just two days after former El Paso County Judge Anthony Cobos pleaded guilty.
As we've reported Aguilar and others agreed to bribe Cobos for a bond refinance project.
Several of those involved have already pleaded guilty.
Cobos is expected to be sentenced in November the day before Thanksgiving.
