Every day in the United States, more than 3,200 children under the age of 18 smoke their first cigarette and it is estimated that 5.6 million of these youth will die prematurely from a smoking-related illness.
More than 2,000 residents in San Elizario were without power Thursday after a driver crashed into a power pole, knocking out electricity.
The crash happened before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Socorro Rd. and Edge Rd.
