Police need help locating teen missing three weeks

LAS CRUCES, NM (KTSM) - Las Cruces Police are asking for help finding a 14-year-old boy who has been missing nearly a month.

Andres Martinez, 14, is considered a runaway by LCPD. However, due to the length of his absence, police are hoping someone in the community can help locate him. 

Martinez was last seen at his home in the 1500 block of Foster Road around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19. Martinez is a student at Lynn Middle School, but has not been attending classes in the last two weeks. 

Police say he may be staying with friends from school and is known to hang out at Young Park.

He is described as 5'3" tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Andres Martinez is asked to immediately call police at (575) 526-0795.
