Thursday, September, 20, 2007 - Less than a year away from graduating college, 21-year-old Lorena Sandoval’s life was cut short. Police say her boyfriend 24-year-old Sean Kresse allegedly choked her to death. The news shocked Sandoval’s longtime friend, Joshua Pinion, learned the news from another friend and that Lorena’s boyfriend had strangled her. Pinion never met Kresse, the man accused of killing her, however; several friends did say the couple got into heated arguments, but never suspected there was ever any violence.
