Friday, April 6, 2007 - The accident happened yesterday afternoon in northeast El Paso at the intersection of Titanic and Howard. Police say the teen ran a stop sign and crashed into a 2005 Isuzu. The driver of that car, 79 year-old William Deering, is now in critical condition at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.

Adam Saenz, 17, has been charged with aggravated assault and is being held at the El Paso County Detention Center under an $18,000 bond. Police say Saenz had seven other teens in the car. Two of them were taken to Thomason Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
