This brings the total of reported cases statewide, to one-hundred-one. Dona Ana County has 12 confirmed cases. El Paso county still has only one case.
The FDA is now questioning whether the salmonella poisoning is linked to foods other than tomatoes. Investigators are looking into the possibility that other items such as cilantro or jalapenos are responsible for the outbreak.
