This afternoon District Attorney Jaime Esparza declined to pursue charges. Jackson is the Miners leading scorer and the top player on the team.
He was arrested April 15th, after police wanted more information on two men accused of homicides in Pennsylvania. Police thought the men were staying at Jackson's house. After a month of reviewing charges, District Attorney Jaime Esparza declined the case. UTEP basketball coach Tony Barbee is out of town recruiting but released this comment. "We are glad that a resolution has been reached in Stefon's case. I'm sure that he is looking forward to putting this behind him and getting back to focusing on school and basketball."
