Tuesday, May 13, 2008 – On Monday a federal judge rejected a request, made by the El Paso Apartment Association, to keep the city from collecting the storm water fees. The fees will pay for fixing drainage and infrastructure problems that could lead to more flooding.

But the El Paso Apartment Association and several apartment complexes; say the fees are too high and have filed suit against the board and the city.
