Tiguas Take Offensive Against Border Wall

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 – By the end of the year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will build 670 miles of fencing along the border and the plan will create a barrier from Socorro to the Fabens port of entry. The government’s plans has some Tiguas fired up, because they would be kept from the Rio Grande, a river where they have held ceremonies for over 300-years.
